IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CIVILIAN OR MILITARY ID YOU MUST COME IN MARYLAND 715 (MARYLAND GATE). YOU ARE REQUIRED TO STOP AT THE GATE TO REGISTER TO GET A PASS TO COME ON POST.
YOU MUST HAVE A PHOTO ID TO GET ON POST (DRIVER’S LICENSE WILL DO). ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR THE STOP AT THE GATE – IT COULD BE LENGTHY.We have two gates: Maryland Gate Rt. 715, and Harford Gate Rt. 22:
DIRECTIONS TO NAF PERSONNEL OFFICE - USING MARYLAND GATE 715: Coming east from Baltimore towards Aberdeen on Route 40, bear left off Route 40 onto exit MD 715 East to Aberdeen Proving Ground. This will take you through the APG entrance gate (Maryland Gate). Once through the gate you will be on Maryland Boulevard. First light is an emergency signal light; second traffic light is at Deer Creek Loop; third light is at Combat Drive; fourth traffic light is at Darlington Street and the fifth light is Susquehanna Avenue.
As you approach the fifth traffic light, bear right onto Susquehanna Avenue. Proceed up a slight incline. At the top there is an intersection – Springfield Street (sign is on the left side of the road). Turn right and proceed .1 mi., on your right you will pass the courthouse and then there will be a large parking area– that is the parking lot for Building 4504. Turn right into the parking area. There is visitor parking close to the building. (If you get to the dining facility – look back – the parking lot is behind you.)
When you enter the building there is a reception area on your left. The receptionist will inquire who or where you are going. You will need to sign in the log and will be given a visitor’s badge.
DIRECTIONS TO NAF PERSONNEL OFFICE - USING HARFORD GATE ROUTE 22: Coming from I-95, Exit 85, or from Bel Air towards Aberdeen on Route 22 (Aberdeen Thruway); continue driving straight on Route 22 until you go through the APG entrance gate (Harford Gate). You will be on Harford Boulevard. The first light is an emergency signal; the second light is at Rodman Road. Proceed towards next traffic light and bear right onto Maryland Boulevard. Proceed through the first traffic light (Aberdeen Boulevard).
The next traffic light is Susquehanna Avenue. Turn left onto Susquehanna Avenue. Proceed up a slight incline.
