A local version of the famous fall festival held each year in Munich, Germany. The APG Oktoberfest is a family fun event focused on German food, music, kids activities, and much more! Mark your calendars and dust off your lederhosen—Oktoberfest is back for 2018!

Reminder: Animals, except for guide dogs for persons with disabilities, are not allowed at the Oktoberfest activities.

NOTICE: The Car Show has been cancelled due to the unpredictable weather.

Driving Directions:
From I-95 North and South to the 715 (Visitors) Gate:

  1. Follow I-95 to exit 80 ( Rt. 543 East).
  2. Go through three (3) traffic lights; road becomes a ramp.
  3. Make a right onto Rt. 40 East from ramp.
  4. Follow Rt. 40 through two (2) traffic lights.
  5. Take the MD 715 South exit (ramp on right) to Aberdeen Proving Ground.
  6. Continue approximately one mile; enter gate (Ruggles Golf Course on your right).
  7. Signs will direct you to parking and the Oktoberfest.

Gate Policy: Community members over the age of 18 years old will be allowed access to the installation with a state or U.S. Government-issued ID card such as a drivers license, state ID card, passport, or any form of U.S. Government-issued ID; 17 years old and younger do not require ID cards.
